These Are The Negative Signs That You Are Wasting Your Life

Life is said to be too short, but most of us don’t feel it until we start nearing the end — only then do we really think about and regret our choices. Think about the following two questions: What was always your biggest dream, and did you realize that dream during your life?

If your answer is no, then you have to take serious action in your life.

Spend a big part of your week doing things you shouldn’t be doing

We all have our list of things we do that wastes our time, like watching TV, hanging out on Facebook, surfing the internet, playing video games, pointlessly arguing, reading the newspaper…

Where are you spending most of your time? Is it leading to a better life? Is it getting you closer to live the life of your dreams?

If not, then it’s time to make some changes. I suggest you block all time wasting and unwanted apps and software right now.

Complaining, blaming or making excuses

Do you complain about your work, the taxes or the weather or blame your boss, your partner or the authorities or make excuses to be late, for not having enough cash, for being generous?

If you do, then you are doing nothing but exuding negative energy. Negatives don’t change things. It keeps you stock.

It is time to take responsibility for your lifetime. Read books, listen to podcasts, help others.

Everyday is the same

All you do is eat, sleep, repeat, you have nothing new, nothing exciting, nothing to look forward to. Everyday is pretty much the same as the last. You get to a point you don’t even acknowledge you’re living anymore. You simply just exist as you go through an automated routine your brain is accustomed to. It is very easy to fall into this headspace when you don’t have anything exciting in your life, and nothing you are working on. Everything has to be a conscious effort!

You can’t imagine living without your phone

It seems to me that the smarter our phones become, the more stupid we become.

For one week, write down exactly how many hours a day you waste by texting, emailing, Facebooking, playing games, commenting on your life or the lives of others — instead of living in the moment.

If the number of hours shocks you… do something about it. Promise yourself or you can use time to only use 30–60 minutes per day.

Where is your goal for your future?

While it’s always great to live in the “now” and “be in the moment,” sometimes you need to look ahead to see where you want to go. If you don’t have a goal or a plan, then you are like a boat that is wandering aimlessly in the ocean hoping to end up somewhere good. But you can’t do that. You have to make a step-by-step guide to get where you want to go.

Just like a GPS gets you to a destination, you need your own inner GPS to guide you.

Being around negative people

There is literally nothing positive that comes out of being around negative people. Protect your mental as much as you protect your physical health. Negative comments naturally affect your mindset and in turn affects how you view yourself and your capabilities. It makes you limit yourself, and being in that headspace will always cause you to play small. You stay mediocre while the people putting you down are there flourishing and growing. Why would you want to do that to yourself?

You rarely step out of your comfort zone

Living most of your life in the comfort and safety of your comfort zone will ultimately kill you.

When you’re in a non-challenging job for too long, your spirit dies.

When you’re in a non-growing relationship for too long, your heart closes.

When you never push your body to move, your heart stops…

Every day, do something that scares you…

With “I don’t give a shit” Mindset

Means I don’t care. If your whole life is only you going like a zombie with no expectations in life, you want to change this. You’ve got zero expectations since you haven’t worked on anything in your lifetime. Possessing an eat, sleep, repeat lifestyle.

Do not just exist, don’t forget to reside! You are not a plant, you were made to do great things, not just breath

Pro at procrastination

Just a tiny bit of procrastination never hurt nobody. Actually it helps your brain narrow down on significant tasks to finish and cut the unnecessary stuff. But, being an expert procrastinator is different, you just don’t put in any attempt in any of your tasks, since you procrastinate too much to this point you do not have sufficient time.

You don’t take care of your body

Beyond the simple fact that sufficient sleep is very important to health, it’s also crucial to keep your body active and keep its own health, just as you would your vehicle. Your own body is the vehicle that drives your spirit, and you need to keep it healthy by eating a balanced, healthful diet and exercising, not only for weight reduction, but to keep its potency.

You spend money on things that don’t even matter

Most people completely forgot the distinction between ”need” and ”want”.

We are in need of food, shelter and water, we do not have to attend a fancy restaurant to eat our meals, we do not require a large home, we do not want an expensive laptop, car, house, clothes.

Put your priorities straight and your money will take you a lot further.

Being around negative people

There’s nothing positive that comes from being around negative individuals. Guard your psychological as far as you shield your bodily wellness. Negative remarks naturally impact your mindset and consequently influences how you see yourself and your abilities. It makes you restrict yourself, and being in that headspace will constantly permit you to play little. You remain fair while others setting down you are there growing and flourishing. Why would you need to do this to yourself?

Endless stalking

When you place so much energy in different people’s lives, instead of yours. You go through other people’s Instagram to view how they’re doing or what they’re doing, once you may do it in your life. A good deal of times, stalking originates from contrast or competition, needing to be greater than another person or feeling poor. Most of us know deep down, you just stalk for comparison or to compete. The goal always is just one or another.

I will use an analogy here; ‘imagine you were in a race, and you are leading, or you are second place. The minute you try to look beside you to see how the other racers are doing, you instantly lose momentum and your pace slows. Now those who were possibly behind you, have been given the opportunity to surpass you. You may get to the end of the race at last place, or 5th place. The bottom line is, if you had only focused on you in this race, you could have maintained your position and gotten farther.’
